CardioAlex 2023: Uniting Hearts and Minds in Cardiovascular Excellence
Held in Bibliotheca Alexandrina from 13th to 16th June 2023, CardioAlex was a prominent gathering that brought together cardiovascular professors and junior physicians from around the world. The conference aimed to provide attendees with the latest research findings and advancements in the cardiovascular field. With a rich scientific program and a significant number of attendees, the event proved to be a resounding success.
Attracting a total of 6,783 attendees who joined in person, and an additional 1,350 attendees who participated remotely. This impressive turnout demonstrated the immense interest and importance placed on the conference within the medical community.
The scientific program spanned a total of 206.5 scientific hours, offering an extensive array of educational sessions and activities. Among the highlights were 9 international and national live transmission cases that provided valuable insights into real-life scenarios. The conference also featured 23 scientific tracks, including 6 new ones, which covered a wide range of topics relevant to cardiovascular medicine. Attendees had the opportunity to delve into various areas of interest and explore the latest developments in their respective fields.
To further enhance the educational experience, 6 innovative workshops were conducted, focusing on Intervention, Echocardiography, Cardiac Surgery, and Digital Transformation. These workshops allowed participants to gain hands-on experience and acquire practical skills from leading experts in these specialized areas.
Another notable feature of the conference was the inclusion of 11 Live in a Box cases. These interactive sessions provided a unique platform for attendees to witness complex cardiovascular cases being presented and discussed by experienced physicians. Such live cases fostered collaborative learning and allowed for the exchange of valuable insights among participants.
