Shaping the Future of Hematology: Highlights from The Sixth International Hematology Forum (IHF)
The Hematology Forum held in Alexandria, Egypt, from 30 November to 1st of December 2023, was a resounding success, attracting 300+ participants. The event’s line up a diverse range of sessions covering integrated hematology, neuromuscular disorders, hemostasis and thrombosis, challenging clinical cases, acute leukemias and MDS, and stem cell disorders, ensured a comprehensive and enriching experience for all attendees. The forum undoubtedly catalyzed collaboration, learning, and the exchange of knowledge in the field of hematology, leaving a lasting impact on all participants and the wider medical community.
Integrated Hematology Session:
The forum kicked off with an integrated hematology session, which provided an in-depth exploration of the interconnected nature of various hematological disorders. Experts discussed the complex relationship between iron and liver, emphasizing the inseparable connection and the implications for patient care.
