From November 27–29, 2025, Dubai became the epicenter of global cardiovascular excellence as the Gulf Intervention Society (GIS) launched the 7th Annual Conference, hosted at the InterContinental Festival City under the patronage of the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and the Emirates Health Services (EHS).

The event united over 200 international and regional experts, featuring 35 scientific sessions, 195 presentations, and 8 live cardiac transmissions streamed from world-renowned centers in the UAE, KSA, Oman, Iraq, Italy, and the USA.

• Workshops on TAVI, coronary imaging, and robotic-assisted interventions, reflecting the field’s technological evolution.

Dr. Abdullah Shehab, Vice President of the Gulf Intervention Society, shared:
 “One of the most impactful sessions this year was the collaboration with the American Heart Association, where we discussed acute coronary syndromes and cardiogenic shock — some of the most critical and time-sensitive cardiac emergencies. The dialogue between international experts helped bridge global protocols with Gulf region realities.”
