The Egyptian Vascular and Endovascular Summit (EVES) recently concluded on a high note, marking its impact not just as a conference but as a true hub of innovation and collaboration in the field. Held from October 31st to November 2nd, EVES 2024 brought together an unparalleled assembly of medical expertise, featuring over 90+ international speakers and partnerships with more than 20 international vascular societies.

The summit’s foundation lay in a historic collaboration among Egypt’s leading vascular societies: IMAC, DF CARE, AVC, EAVLA, and AFAVS. This unity among Egyptian institutions, complemented by global participation, created an environment where diverse perspectives enriched every discussion. The summit served as an “academy” for vascular professionals, blending knowledge with hands-on experience and career development opportunities.

EVES went beyond traditional lectures and presentations, offering a range of parallel programs that provided a unique depth to the experience. Alongside specialized sessions, the event hosted 28 workshops and hands-on training modules, where practitioners could engage directly with cutting-edge techniques and technology. A standout initiative was The Good Doctor Program, designed for young physicians aiming to advance their skills and knowledge. This program provided invaluable mentorship, fostering a new generation of skilled, compassionate doctors.

Adding a broader dimension, EVES included 3 Night Public Forums for community engagement, where the public could learn about vascular health and preventative care. This outreach, coupled with extensive media coverage, highlighted EVES’ commitment to raising awareness and educating beyond the medical community.
