On 11–12 September 2025, the Egyptian Society of Crohn’s and Colitis (ESCCO) hosted its 5th Annual Scientific Conference at Hilton Heliopolis, Cairo. Prof. Ali Farag, President of ESCCO, opened the conference with a heartfelt welcome:

and preventive strategies. - Competitions: including the IBD Abstract Competition and Case Conclave, which
