The 22nd Conference of Colon & Rectal Surgeons

In an atmosphere filled with positivity. The Egyptian Society of Colon & Rectal Surgeons celebrated the opening of the “22nd Annual Conference of the Egyptian Society of Colon & Rectal Surgeons 2021” last Wednesday dated Sep. 1st in the remarkable city of Cairo, Egypt.

“Despite all the challenges of the pandemic, we succeeded to organize the conference this year.  Hoping that during 2022 we can be in full power enjoying our gatherings in a healthy world free of pandemics.  The advantage of this year is that we are all together, not online, not in front of our screens, we are meeting each other & greeting each other face to face not like last year”, said Prof. Khaled Madbouly – Conference President

The event hosted 50+ distinguished faculty members from Egypt, Middle East, Europe, and the US. The scientific program covered many clinical cases and discussions including updates of various colorectal surgery topics that satisfied the eagerness of our attendees for gathering invaluable knowledge. What really made the scientific program more valuable was the accreditation obtained from “The European Association of Medical Education for 15 European CME”

“I am really glad with what we have achieved this year.  Our conference offered education and networking so that attendees can gain knowledge, share expertise, and engage companies in meaningful activities to help our attendees grow their knowledge”, said Prof. Mohamed Abou Elkhir – Conference General Secretary.
