The 53rd Annual Edition of the ESPRS Conference
For the 53rd annual edition, the ESPRS has been the premier conference for every specialist who employs plastic surgical techniques or works in conjunction with a plastic surgeon. The conference was held from March 8–11, 2023, at the Triumph luxury hotel in Cairo. It seeks to showcase the most recent advances in plastic surgery solutions alongside old golden standards that should always be remembered.
Our board members were delighted to be celebrating the 53rd edition of the ESPRS, which honors the successful accomplishments that this extraordinary conference has achieved over the years.
“It is always a pleasure to see you all and to see our conference growing and attracting more and more guests each year. As usual, the conference is filled with plenty of outstanding experts in our field, and this year, we are privileged to carry out the conference in collaboration with the ISAPS, allowing us to all benefit from the massive exchange of knowledge among all participants” said Prof. Atef Emam, Professor of Plastic Surgery and Reconstructive Surgery and General Secretary of the Conference.
The scientific program was filled with significant scientific discussions, including sessions such as: lower extremity reconstruction, craniofacial surgery, head and neck reconstruction, breast surgery, and body contouring. Workshops included topics such as botox and fillers.
“The experience of the ISAPS was remarkable; the attendance was great; people were very motivating. I had a discussion with a lot of young plastic surgeons about intimate surgery, browlifts, and fat transfer to the breast. Great convention, great scientific exchange, and great social program. Thanks to the organization committee”, stated Dr. Catherine Bergeret-Galley, plastic reconstructive and aesthetic surgery specialist.
450+ physicians were engaged in this marvelous scientific gathering to share experience and knowledge; 20+ international and regional speakers attended from the UK, Italy, Spain, Dubai, Greece, Brazil, the KSA, Jordan, and France. The Accreditation Review Committee (ARC) of the American Association of Continuing Medical Education® designates this medical education activity for a maximum of 39.00 hours in Category 1 credit of the association’s designation.
“Thank you for the invitation. As a faculty member for many congresses, I enjoyed the detailed organization, from the airport transfers to the social events, and the willingness of the staff to sort out any issues. The meeting was well supported by the delegates, who showed interest in the wide variety of topics offered by the faculty. The social events highlighted the culture and history of Egypt, from the breakfast overlooking the pyramids to the festive Nile cruise” Dr. Peter Scott, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon.
On behalf of ICOM Group, and as we are celebrating our Silver Jubilee. We feel privileged to all of the ISAPS board members who believed in us; it has been our pleasure to meet your expectations through the past years.
