The EAEDA Endo Summit 2023 offered an extensive array of subjects and sessions that catered to the diverse interests and concerns within the field. The summit left no stone unturned in covering various aspects of diabetes, ranging from its historical development to future research directions. Attendees gained valuable insights into the epidemiology, management, and prevention of diabetes. Furthermore, the sessions addressed critical areas such as type 2 diabetes in children, male hypogonadism, and the interplay between diabetes and other diseases, shedding new light on these topics. In recognition of the unique challenges faced by women in the realm of endocrine disorders, a dedicated session on women’s health was conducted. Experts shared the latest information on hormonal conditions affecting women, discussed contemporary management strategies, and explored emerging treatments focused on improving women’s health outcomes.

The summit recognized the transformative role of technology in diabetes management. Attendees were introduced to the latest devices and digital solutions aimed at enhancing glycemic control and empowering patients. Enlightening Workshops for Endocrine Professionals: Recognizing the importance of practical skills and up-to-date knowledge, the summit incorporated interactive workshops. Panel Discussions Empowering Nurses by acknowledging the critical role nurses play in diabetes care, a dedicated panel discussion titled “What Should Nurses Know?” addressed specific concerns and challenges encountered by nursing professionals in diabetes management. This eminent gathering celebrated the remarkable achievements of researchers in the field. With abstract presentations being a significant highlight of the summit, researchers had the opportunity to share their groundbreaking findings and engage in enlightening discussions. Notable abstracts included the results of a meta-analysis examining mortality among diabetic patients and the correlation between parathyroid adenoma and multiple osteolytic bone lesions. These research presentations broadened attendees’ horizons, facilitated networking, and opened doors for potential collaborations, further enriching the conference atmosphere.
