With the participation of experts and representatives of Diabetic Professors from Europe and Arab nations, the “The Egyptian Society for Diabetes and Lipidology – ESDL” held its 14th annual conference, “DIA Egypt,” over three days which can be described as the largest gathering of professors of diabetes, internal medicine, and endocrinology in Egypt. To discuss topics related with diabetes management, disease consequences, and infection rates.
To encourage and inspire young doctors to pursue scientific research, the conference this year established three awards for the best research participant and another award for the best lecture.
“Within two weeks of the world’s largest diabetes conference taking place in Stockholm, Sweden, all academicians and medical professionals were debating the new medication in Egypt and across the globe. He emphasized that all new medications are available in Egypt, noting that many diabetes specialists from across the globe were drawn to participate in various workshops with the aim of educating young doctors about everything that is new”, said Prof. Nabil El Kafrawy, President DIA Egypt.
The conference succeeded to achieve the following figures:
