BDER 2022

“Being part of BDER 2022 had been both a pleasure and a privilege. The wide array of speakers and topics made this one of the best hybrid events of the year!” Those were one of the encouraging words we’ve received from our speaker Steve Bain after the astonishing version of this year’s event.

The 4th edition of “Bahrain Diabetes and Endocrine Review – BDER Congress” was implemented in a very strong shape, it had been convened over a 2-days program, presenting extremely powerful scientific content through state-of-the-art presentations, and plenary sessions, meet the experts’ sessions, and clinical symposia. 23 speakers from different countries all over the world did increase the value of the content presented in a way that was never done before! It was a world-class educational program, with hundreds of highly vetted sessions from industry leaders, keynote speakers, and multiple specialty programs just to meet the distinct needs of physicians and clinicians attending this year’s version. And to cover the needs of our virtual attendees too, this year’s version was livestreamed via a 2D platform providing an extraordinary online & engaging experience

As a sum up, 1300+ delegates took the experience of BDER congress within 50+ international and national faculty guests, an unforgettable experience of an educational opportunity. An opportunity of 12 accreditation hours of NHRA and 11 from EACCME. On the other hand, BDER board members had not forgotten the young leaders. After opening the call for abstracts, 15 ones were accepted and 3 winners were announced.

Just as our speaker from UK – Prof. Kristien Boelaert said, “BDER 2022 was a well-organized and stimulating hybrid meeting that provided state of the art information on the management of common diabetes and endocrine conditions. A wide range of speakers from across the globe delivered cutting-edge presentations highly relevant to clinical practice in Diabetes and Endocrinology”.

ICOM was pleased to host such a well-organized congress. After many days of working, brainstorming, and putting each arm of the congress into action, it was a resounding success. The scientific program, logistics, speakers, accreditation, and overall layout were all the result of the ICOM Gulph team’s hard work….
